It’s a similar tale domestically for Liverpool too, as they have began life under new manager Arne Slot in seriously impressive fashion as they sit top of the Premier League table, 8 points clear of second place Manchester City, who of course, have their own problems at the minute.

Liverpool will once again be without long term injury victims Harvey Elliott and Federico Chiesa.

For Madrid, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao are all definitely out with long term injuries of their own. Rodrygo, Lucas Vazquez and Aurelien Tchouameni have all been out recently, but could be set to return at Anfield.
